Sr. BI Reports Developer

Overview

We are seeking a Reports Developer with strong Python development skills and experience using Power BI with Microsoft Fabric to support a growing backlog of data and analytics initiatives.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for building, modifying, and maintaining reports using Python as the primary tool for data processing (SQL is not currently available). You’ll partner closely with Business Analysts to turn requirements into accurate, scalable reporting solutions.

This is a highly technical role ideal for someone who’s confident writing complex Python scripts for data manipulation and transformation in a Microsoft Fabric and Power BI environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reports using Python as the primary tool for data processing
• Use Power BI (with Microsoft Fabric) for visualizations and report design
• Interpret detailed business requirements and translate them into accurate and actionable reporting logic
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integrity and transformation issues
• Contribute to data cleanup efforts and help establish best practices for future reporting
• Prioritize and work through a growing backlog of report requests and analytical deliverables
• Participate in solution design, data mapping, and transformation planning

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–6 years of experience as a Reports Developer, BI Developer, or Data Analyst
• Strong, hands-on experience with Python for data wrangling and transformation
• Experience building and deploying reports in Power BI using Microsoft Fabric
• Ability to interpret and apply detailed business requirements provided by analysts
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment with changing priorities
