At Regions, the Credit Risk Review Examiner continuously monitors and examines activities. This position assesses and reports the status and direction of credit risk within the assigned portfolios.
The Examiner identifies risk direction drivers, evaluates origination quality, portfolio quality, and elements of credit risk management by review of various credit metrics, transaction testing, and periodic interaction with first and second line of defense business managers, staff, and other risk assessment functions.
They identify issues that require management attention and will communicate and summarize review findings in applicable report format for risk rating accuracy, policy compliance, and prudent credit risk management practices.
