Accounts Receivable / Administrative AssistantPosition Summary

A growing company is seeking a dependable and confident Accounts Receivable / Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. This position will handle invoicing, collections, customer communication, basic QuickBooks tasks, and general administrative support.

The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable speaking directly with customers regarding past-due balances, and able to remain professional in difficult conversations. This role offers room for growth for someone who takes initiative and is willing to learn.

Schedule and Pay

• Monday–Friday
• 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
• $22 per hour, depending on experience
• Full-time position

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send customer invoices
• Follow up on outstanding balances and assist with accounts receivable collections
• Communicate with customers by phone and email regarding invoices and payments
• Answer incoming phone calls, take messages, and provide basic customer service
• Enter and maintain accurate information in QuickBooks
• Organize payment records, customer documents, and account information
• Assist with filing liens and delivering documents to the courthouse when necessary
• Support general office and administrative needs
• Maintain professional communication during direct or challenging customer conversations
• Complete additional duties as needed to support the office

Qualifications

• Previous accounts receivable, collections, bookkeeping, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred
• Comfortable discussing unpaid invoices and requesting payment
• Strong phone, written communication, and customer-service skills
• Organized and accurate with paperwork and data entry
• Able to work independently and follow through on assigned tasks
• Confident, professional, and able to handle blunt or difficult conversations
• Willing and able to travel locally to the courthouse when required
• Comfortable working in an office where cats and dogs may be present

Pay: $22.00 per hour
