Operating Room (OR) Nurse opportunities are available in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves providing critical perioperative care in a busy surgical environment, adhering to established protocols and standards. The position requires on-call availability and specific certifications to ensure patient safety and effective procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). Additionally, Neurocritical Care Certification (NIHSS) must be completed prior to start. Certified in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or Medical Administration of Behavior (MAB) is required within 30 days of employment. On-call duties are required with a minimum 2-hour callback. The facility can cancel one shift every four weeks during the contract.
• Preferred Qualifications: Relevant perioperative nursing experience is desirable.
• Additional Information: The role entails responding promptly during scheduled on-call hours and maintaining flexibility to meet operational needs. Shift cancellations are possible on a monthly basis, and candidates must be prepared for surgical scheduling variability.
