Math Teacher (Middle & High School) — Nashville International Academy

About the Role

Nashville International Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to inspire students in middle and high school o think critically, solve problems, and build confidence in mathematics. You'll teach a range of topics — from pre-algebra and algebra through geometry and beyond — while helping students develop the skills they need for college, career readiness, and standardized assessments.

This is an opportunity to shape not just how students think about math, but how they see themselves as capable learners, in a school that values academic rigor alongside character and whole-child development.

What You'll Do

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned math instruction for middle and high school students
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Assess student progress and use data to inform and adjust instruction
• Prepare students for standardized testing and college/career readiness benchmarks
• Foster a classroom culture of curiosity, critical thinking, and perseverance
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and school leadership to support student growth
• Model and reinforce NIA's values of character development and community

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Math Education, or a related field
• US work authorization required
• Strong knowledge of math standards and best instructional practices
• Experience with curriculum planning, assessment, and data-driven instruction
• A genuine passion for teaching and working with middle and high school students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in a diverse educational environment is a plus

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
