We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Event & Marketing Specialist to support sales and marketing initiatives across our Education and Commercial markets. This role will work collaboratively with the marketing team and assist with trade shows, partner marketing activities, sales support materials, campaign coordination, and day-to-day marketing execution.

The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and eager to learn and contribute across multiple marketing functions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects, and supporting marketing programs that help drive brand awareness and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

Events & Partner Marketing

• Coordinate and support trade shows, partner events, customer meetings, and product launches
• Assist with event planning logistics including registrations, promotional materials, booth coordination, shipping, and follow-up activities
• Support distributor and reseller marketing initiatives, including co-branded campaigns and partner communications
• Assist with partner communications and co-branded marketing activities

Sales Enablement & Demand Generation

• Assist with sales and product marketing initiatives by developing and updating presentations, sell sheets, product flyers, case studies, competitive materials, and co-branded assets
• Support email campaigns, demand generation activities, lead tracking, and marketing reporting across digital, partner, and sales channels
• Coordinate marketing requests and support product launches, sales collateral development, and campaign execution for physical product lines

Content & Digital Marketing

• Assist with updating marketing content for websites, email campaigns, social media, presentations, and sales collateral
• Help ensure marketing materials are accurate, consistent, and aligned with company brand standards
• Support website updates and coordinate content changes with internal team members or external partners
• Assist with scheduling and posting social media content across company channels
• Provide general support for marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and content organization

Market Intelligence & Competitive Awareness

• Track competitor announcements and share relevant updates with the marketing and sales teams
• Assist in developing competitive comparison materials, battle cards, and sales messaging to help position Power Technologies solutions effectively
• Gather market feedback from sales teams, customers, and partners

Marketing Operations & General Support

• Help manage marketing calendars, project timelines, and campaign schedules
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure projects move forward efficiently
• Organize and maintain marketing assets, photos, promotional items, and sales tools
• Provide broad marketing support across multiple business initiatives and priorities as needed

Education & Experience Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, sales support, or related roles
• Experience supporting product marketing initiatives, B2B campaigns, events, or cross-functional marketing activities preferred
• Experience in hardware, technology, or other product-based industries preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact, HubSpot, or similar), CRM systems, and social media platforms
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools preferred
• Experience with website CMS platforms and basic SEO principles a plus
• B2B, education, technology, or healthcare marketing experience preferred
• Highly proactive with a willingness to learn and contribute across multiple marketing initiatives
• Ability to travel up to 25% as required, including occasional trade shows and/or partner events.
• Desire to work hard, collaborate, and have fun doing it.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Proficient in English, Strong oral and written communication skills.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract and calculate basic prices and gross margins, markup, percentages, pricing models.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS

Valid driver’s license in good standing, vehicle insurance, valid passport

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIVE CONSUMER REPORT

COMPUTER SKILLS

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite). Experience with email marketing platforms, CRM tools, and website CMS systems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires the incumbent to stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally and regularly requires walking, sitting, talking, and using hands to finger, handle or feel.

The employee may occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds. The employee will be required to use a computer for extended periods of time and talk on the phone. The employee may be required to assist in tradeshow booth setup and to move products and equipment.
