SLED Account Manager

The ideal candidate will be able to service, retain, and grow current customer accounts as well as develop and capture net new business within public sector verticals, primarily education and local government. Candidate must learn BorderLAN's cybersecurity product/ partner portfolio and recognize trends, challenges, solutions and go to market strategies within the SLED space.

BorderLAN provides ample training, resources, support and an extensive network of partnerships to grow their book of business.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain relationships with customers to better understand and achieve their needs
• Meet regularly with customers to identify opportunities for growth, as well as protect and stay in front of renewal business
• New business development - employ a variety of strategies to drive business with new logos. Including cold calling and email outreach, networking, events, etc.

Qualifications

• Previous business development and account management experience, preferably in the SLED space
• Technology sales experience
• Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing role
• College degree
• Organized, driven, business acumen. Technical acumen/ skillset a plus but not required
