This role is for someone who understands that great service is more than pouring drinks and taking orders it's about contributing to a clean, efficient, well-run operation every shift.
What This Role IsThis position includes bartending and table service, plus hands on operational responsibilities that are a core part of the job not secondary and not optional.
You'll work across both StormBreaker locations(Mississippi Ave and St. Johns), each with patios, dining rooms, and event spaces. We regularly host large parties, community events, and high volume walk ins, so the ability to move smoothly between service styles is essential.
What We Expect (Read Carefully)This role also requires awareness of daily local sports games and major national sporting events, and helping ensure the pub is set up appropriately for game day service.
In addition to bartending and serving, this role regularly includes:
Cleaning floors, tables, restrooms (including toilets), floor drains, and service areas.
Dishwashing, bar prep, restocking, and end of shift breakdown.
Dusting fans, TVs, and other surfaces.
Running food and drinks for teammates.
Event setup and breakdown.
Supporting the overall appearance and functionality of the building.
This is a team-based operation. Everyone contributes to all aspects of service and upkeep.
Scheduling & Availability (Non Negotiable)Friday Sunday availability is required, plus additional weekday shifts.
Days and Nights are required.
Flexibility & Team Coverage: While we strive for consistency, this is not a fixed-schedule environment. Team members are expected to be flexible and assist with shift coverage for co-worker vacations and brewery events. We operate as a unit; when a teammate is out, we rely on the rest of the crew to step up.
The "Step Up" Factor: We need a team that leans in during our busiest times. While typical shifts are 6-8 hours, shifts may occasionally extend to 10+ hours during peak season, major brewery events, or to ensure proper guest service. We need people with the stamina to handle the "big days" alongside the normal ones.
Business-Led Hours: Shifts may end early if business does not support staffing levels.
Commitment: We are hiring for 3-4 shifts to start, with the expectation that team members can work up to 5 shifts per week as business needs require. This is not a "weekends-only" or limited-availability role.
