Experienced Independent Property Claims Adjuster

We are seeking skilled Independent Field Adjusters to investigate and evaluate property claims on behalf of our clients. This position offers the chance to work independently, manage a high volume of claims, and provide timely, accurate, and professional service.

Essential Responsibilities

• Independently manage all assigned claims with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
• Make informed claim decisions within your delegated authority as per company and carrier guidelines.
• Accurately interpret insurance policy coverages and apply appropriate claims practices.
• Communicate and establish reserves that align with carrier expectations.
• Stay current with knowledge of insurance policies, guidelines, and industry practices.
• Understand local construction methods, pricing, and repair standards to make well-informed assessments.
• Submit supplemental reports as needed, including severe incident reports and ITV reports.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to all insureds, clients, and stakeholders.
• Maintain high standards of professional conduct throughout all assignments.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing property claims.
• At least 2 years of experience using Xactimate and Symbility estimating software.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies, practices, and procedures.
• General knowledge of construction methods is highly preferred.
