Call Center Agent

You will be responsible to respond to incoming vehicle acquisition requests via phone/email with exceptional customer service and provide instant offers to our amazing customer base in the Utah Valley! You will also gain strong experience in dispatching, vehicle titling, and team building.
The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator, service oriented problem solver, and go getter who is able to own their own career – the Tear A Part way! You will work with our amazing Call Center team and alongside our Retail teams serving as the liaison for our car buying operations.
Communicating with tow vendors, dealerships, teammates, customers, and intercompany teams – you will have the ability to form many lifelong connections!
Job Duties
- Answer incoming phone calls, responding to emails, quoting accurate instant offers prices per location and vehicle specifics set by Tear A Part in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, ensuring customers receive the best experience, and resolving any complaints that may arise, the Tear A Part Way –
Professional, courteous, timely, and respectful.
- Respond to customers via phone/email in a timely manner with accurate information relating to instant offers, scheduling, and any other inquiries.
- Assign and manage tow truck dispatch assignments, schedules, and locations while creating the most cost-effective and efficient routes and correcting/advising drivers of any discrepancies.
- Enter call tickets immediately into Crush software and Towbooks to inform Tear A Part Buying Centers of the vehicle arrival and all other details.
- Utilize Buying Tool to ensure that all vehicle ownership, condition, and other details are appropriately documented in order to provide an accurate instant offer.
- Reconcile daily tows with drivers and match VIN and tow rates with tow truck drivers in Crush software and/or Towbooks.
- Enhance customer experience by utilizing proper techniques including customer follow ups, surveys, call backs/outs, cold calls, and other methods.
- Work intercompany to ensure drivers are loaded in each direction of travel relating to other vehicles, commodities, and vehicle transfers.
- Screen seller ownership documents to ensure they are order prior to dispatching and driver paperwork (title work) prior to forwarding, correcting, and advising driver of any discrepancies immediately.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with towing companies and dealerships.
- Assist with titling system (VDARS) and private property impound paperwork, ensuring information is accurately completed and transmitted to the state(s) while maintaining a system to verify out-of-state titles.
- Prepare all tax and title documents on a timely basis and submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Assist with any other assignments as needed.
Experience
- High School Diploma (or GED/High School Equivalence Certificate) or Experience Equivalent
- Active listener with excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- 1-3 years of experience customer service/call center/dispatching experience
- 1-3 years of experience of automotive industry experience, specifically customer service/call center preferred
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
- Bilingual Spanish Speaking required!

Full-time position between 32-40 scheduled hours per week.

- Occasionally assist in other outdoor store operations which may include extreme weather conditions (Heat or Cold)
