Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health - Part-time

We are looking for a part-time day registered nurse at our geriatric behavioral health hospital - The Marian Center. The day shifts are 1-2 shifts per week (12 hours) plus shifts from for staff vacation and sick coverage (as available). There are two types of shifts.

One from 1830-0630 and the other is 1830-2200. No experience required but must be able to work independently and have an ability to work with individuals with behavioral health diagnoses. It is a great place to work! Come meet our great team!

As a quick overview- we are a small 14-bed geriatric behavioral health hospital. Our average daily census is about 11-13. We have an RN around the clock and when we are at 10+ we run a second nurse during the busy times. We always run 2 CNAs regardless of the census.

Additionally, we have a full-time activity person, therapist, case manager, director of nursing, business office manager, and an administrator who is also a nurse. Our patients are seen everyday by both a psychiatric provider and a medical provider.

Things that are unique with us is that we are a small place with a family type environment. We are much more laid back than a typical hospital or care facility. Our motto is "Customer Second" and employees first, instead of customers first.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a behavioral health setting during night shifts.
• Document patient information accurately using EMR an system (ICAnotes).
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and support patients and medication administration.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism in all interactions with patients and their families.
• Provide leadership for the CNAs/Psych techs during the shift

Pay: $33.00 - $39.00 per hour
