This position requires the applicant to provide 5-10 hours per week of teaching assistance in a Hybrid Graduate Level Course ( PHTH 7100 – Teaching & Learning). Responsibilities include assisting the course lead with preparation of live session materials, grading assignments with feedback, coordinating breakout rooms and zoom organization, and review of course materials for updating and course advancement (as well as prep course materials for the following year). This position may also include team meetings (held weekly) as needed for coordination.
This course runs during the spring semester from January through April, with TA responsibilities anticipated throughout the duration of the spring semester. In addition, the applicant should have average skills in the use of word, excel, powerpoint, and zoom.
Preferences
The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, be detail oriented, and have the ability to be responsive to email and text. In addition, the candidate should have average to above average knowledge of word, excel, powerpoint, canvas, and zoom.
