The role of Senior Food & Beverage Director is a critical leadership position within Azul Hospitality Group, responsible for overseeing and directing Food & Beverage operations across multiple esteemed properties including Le Méridien/Element Salt Lake City, Bryce Canyon Pines, Red Cliffs Lodge Moab, and Red Cliffs Lodge Zion.
The Senior Director provides strategic leadership and operational guidance to ensure consistency in service quality, profitability, and alignment with brand standards across all outlets such as restaurants, bars, banquets, and in-room dining.
This position requires a dynamic leader to plan and direct the Food & Beverage functions, balancing daily operational demands with long-term strategic goals.
The Senior Director collaborates closely with property leadership teams, including General Managers, Executive Chefs, and department heads, to develop and manage budgets, implement cost control and revenue enhancement strategies, and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships.
They are responsible for leading teams through training, coaching, and performance evaluations, fostering a culture of excellence and exceptional guest service.
In addition to overseeing operational performance, the Senior Food & Beverage Director continuously monitors industry trends to keep offerings competitive and appealing, updating menus and beverage selections accordingly. Travel is an essential component of this role, with up to 50% expected to visit and support various properties.
Knowledge of regulations, health and safety standards, and compliance requirements is critical to ensuring smooth and lawful operations.
