Job Title: Assistant Surveyor

Location: Salt Lake City, UT and Surrounding Areas

Pay: Starting pay $22.00 per hour – Dependent on years of experience and job stability demonstrated on resume

The Assistant Surveyor supports field surveying operations by assisting with construction layout, grade staking, data collection, and site measurements for civil construction projects. This position helps ensure accurate project alignment, elevations, and site control while working closely with surveyors and field crews. Entry level position

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with construction staking, layout, and grade verification.
• Collect field data using GPS and surveying equipment.
• Read and interpret plans, grades, and specifications.
• Set and maintain survey control points and benchmarks.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
