General Manager - Moving Services

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a busy moving and relocation operation in Salt Lake City, UT. This branch handles a mix of local household goods moves, interstate relocations, and commercial projects. Working with an established team, you will be responsible for improving operational performance, driving profitability, and ensuring the highest levels of service delivery.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can oversee day-to-day operations while managing the financial performance of the branch. You will lead and develop operational and administrative teams, maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners, and work closely with sales teams to support business growth.

The successful candidate will also ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards while optimising fleet, warehouse, and logistics operations.

Key requirements include

• Previous management experience within the moving and relocation industry (HHG or commercial moving preferred) Proven success managing branch operations and P&L performance Strong leadership skills with experience developing multi-level teams Knowledge of logistics, transportation, fleet, and warehouse operations Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities A track record of improving operational efficiency and driving business growth
