Pay Rate: $34.00–$46.00 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week + Overtime Available

Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking skilled Instrumentation Technicians for a long-term industrial project in Magna, Utah. Key Responsibilities

• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial instrumentation systems.
• Perform calibration and testing of:
• Pressure transmitters
• Temperature transmitters
• Differential pressure transmitters
• Flow and level instruments
• Control valves
• Utilize process meters, HART communicators, pressure pumps, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Perform signal sourcing and simulation for instrumentation devices.
• Assist with basic PLC troubleshooting and understand Analog and Discrete I/O systems.
• Perform basic tubing bending and installation.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, electrical schematics, and instrumentation diagrams.
• Maintain safe work practices while supporting plant operations and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial instrumentation experience required.
• Experience working in refineries, mines, chemical plants, or oil & gas facilities preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation calibration and troubleshooting.
• Experience using process meters, HART communicators, and calibration equipment.
• Basic understanding of PLC systems and industrial control loops.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
• Must have reliable transportation and your own hand tools with a basic cordless tool set.
• Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and teamwork.
