Senior Principal Architect - Snowflake

The Senior Principal Architect is a pivotal leadership role that combines hands-on delivery responsibility with high-level strategic vision. This position guarantees that solutions are crafted with excellence and successfully realized in client environments.

This individual will be a trusted partner for clients, managing the complete solution lifecycle—from pre-sales engagement to implementation—while promoting technical excellence, adding client value, and achieving business goals.

Client Leadership & Solution Strategy

• Act as a strategic advisor to clients, ensuring that technical solutions align with their business objectives and future vision.
• Lead the design of solutions for complex, large-scale engagements across diverse clients or sectors.
• Ensure all solutions are consistent with enterprise architecture standards and technical strategies.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for designated clients.

Pre-Sales & Solution Development

• Drive technical pre-sales activities such as discovery sessions, solution framing, and proposal crafting.
• Take ownership of scoping, estimating, and cost modeling for intricate and significant opportunities.
• Review and confirm proposals for technical accuracy, feasibility, risk, and alignment with standards.
• Present compelling technical presentations tailored to various stakeholder audiences.

Delivery & Implementation Oversight

• Lead the transition from pre-sales to delivery, ensuring both continuity and successful execution.
• Provide leadership and guidance throughout the implementation phase.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, optimized, and provide measurable value to clients.
• Champion the successful adoption of solutions within client settings.

Thought Leadership & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and disseminate technical best practices, frameworks, and reusable assets.
• Be recognized as a domain authority in designated industries or solution areas.
• Remain updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape.
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance client outcomes and profitability.

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and delivery teams to influence product direction.
• Guide and mentor junior architects and team members.
• Encourage cross-functional collaboration and the adoption of best practices.

Core Competencies

• Profound expertise in enterprise solution architecture and design for intricate systems.
• Strong knowledge of identity resolution techniques (deterministic and probabilistic matching, online/offline stitching).
• Hands-on experience with contemporary cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts applicable to extensive data processing and analytics.
• Experience in designing real-time data architectures and Customer Data Platforms (CDP / Customer 360).
• Strong business insight with the ability to convey technical value to non-technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, relationship building, and leadership skills.

Qualifications (Required)

• 10+ years of mixed experience in technical pre-sales and solution execution.
• 10+ years of experience in client-facing roles, including interactions with executive-level clients.
• 5+ years in data-driven marketing settings (database, direct, or digital marketing).
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with non-cloud to cloud migration strategies.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar data platforms.
• Understanding of clean room technologies.
• Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP / Customer 360).
• Knowledge of real-time data processing architectures.
• Proficient in AI/ML-enabled analytics solutions.
