Engineering Analyst

Position: Engineering Analyst

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Total Hours/week: 40.00

Both Onsite and Remote - Must be local and available to come into the office

The Analyst will handle an assortment of regulatory compliance reporting activities. SVHC Reports, Article Statements, OEM forms related to:

• REACH - aspects include determining Material Nature, assist in registration process
• euMDR medical device regulation - materials information
• Data migration & integration projects/collection - using existing templates
• Data compilation - following established criteria
• Data review, verification, correction - elimination of duplicate data, which may include supplier outreach
• Requirements assessments for new projects, materials change programs
• Participate in quarterly report outs with Business Segment Leaders
• Other duties as assigned by management
• The Analyst will work with BD MDS sites world-wide, with emphasis on Vascular Access Devices
• The Analyst reports to BD MDS R&D Leadership

Qualifications

• College degree required
• College-level class(es) in chemistry, polymers, materials or related fields
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
• Strong database skills
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills
• Extremely strong organizational / prioritization skills
• Comfort with dealing with language barriers
• Strong Leadership skills for Establishing Agendas and Following up with various Teams
• Strong administrative abilities
