Cook/Kitchen Help

Our organization is seeking an experienced and passionate kitcen teammate to support our team. The ideal candidate for this position has a passion for food preparation and is capable of multitasking in a busy environment. This is the perfect opportunity for the candidate to become a part of a dynamic team that serves schools in the local communities. Hours are 5:30am to 1:30pm. Pay is negotiable and competitive.

Daily counting by phone or calculator. Basic math skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Prep and cook food items.
• Plate meals for delivery.
• Clean kitchen areas.
• Put away truck.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or kitchen environment
• Strong food handling and service skills
• Basic math skills for inventory and portion control
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
• Experience in catering and serving preferred
