Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies
• Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques
• Assess student progress regularly using standardized testing and formative assessments to tailor instruction accordingly
• Incorporate learning technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding
• Support early childhood education principles and childhood development best practices to meet diverse student needs
• Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and parents to support individual learning plans, including special education and early intervention strategies
• Mentor students by providing guidance, tutoring, and additional support to help them reach their full potential

Requirements

• Proven classroom experience with elementary-aged children in a school setting
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators
• Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and standardized testing procedures
• Familiarity with learning technology tools and library services to support student research and literacy skills
• Background in early childhood education or childhood development principles
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment
• Certification or licensure in elementary education or relevant teaching credentials is preferred but not required; a bachelor's degree is non-negotiable.

Pay: $44,822.45 - $53,979.73 per year
