We are currently seeking a talented, energetic, and guest-service-oriented Food & Beverage Manager to lead and innovate our food and beverage operations at Residence Inn Tierra Verde. This role is integral to enhancing guest satisfaction and ensuring that every dining and event experience is executed flawlessly.

The Food & Beverage Manager will oversee a broad spectrum of operations including the daily management of Vista at the Top, bar services, banquet and event setups, as well as special event execution. This position calls for someone who thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment, demonstrating leadership by example and a relentless commitment to operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on and highly organized, passionate about fostering a welcoming and efficient atmosphere for both guests and staff. They will be responsible for directing all aspects of restaurant and banquet operations, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and maintaining high-quality food and beverage offerings.

Moreover, this role demands a strong focus on team development, requiring the Food & Beverage Manager to recruit, train, and motivate team members while promoting a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and accountability.

This position offers a flexible schedule to accommodate weekends, holidays, and varied shift requirements to meet business demands. The Food & Beverage Manager will work closely with multiple departments within the hotel to guarantee seamless coordination and execution of all food and beverage services.

This role includes significant guest interaction, requiring excellent communication skills to resolve concerns and assure service recovery effectively. • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in the restaurant or food and beverage field
• ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding
• high school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred
• ServSafe and/or food safety training
• alcohol awareness training such as TIPS
• familiarity with food and beverage cost controls
• ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• ability to accurately compute mathematical calculations and use required measurement tools
• ability to prepare budgets and ensure cost controls
• bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele
