About Us

Glass Pros of Tampa is a well-established commercial glass and glazing contractor serving the Tampa Bay area for over 25 years. We specialize in storefronts, curtain walls, windows, entrances, glass railings, and specialty glazing systems for commercial, multifamily, healthcare, education, government, and high-end residential projects.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Glass & Glazing Estimator to join our growing team. If you have estimating experience in the glazing industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for commercial glazing projects.
• Prepare complete project estimates and proposals.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and manufacturer pricing.
• Identify scope gaps and value engineering opportunities.
• Communicate with architects, general contractors, suppliers, and project managers.
• Track addenda and revisions throughout the bidding process.
• Participate in project turnover meetings after award.
• Maintain organized estimating files and bid records.
• Help build strong relationships with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial glass and glazing estimating experience (preferred).
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong understanding of storefront, curtain wall, entrances, windows, and glazing systems.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs and bid preparation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Valid driver's license.

• Microsoft Office
• YKK, ES Windows, or similar glazing systems
• Florida Building Code and impact-rated glazing systems
