Senior Data Analyst, HR Dashboards & Workforce Analytics

Our client, a growing 1,500+-employee healthcare organization, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst, HR Dashboards & Workforce Analytics to help shape workforce strategy through data-driven insights.

This is a highly visible role partnering with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership to deliver analytics that influence hiring, retention, workforce planning, productivity, and organizational performance.

We're looking for someone who not only excels in analytics and dashboard development, but also understands the unique workforce dynamics of a healthcare environment—including clinical staffing, provider operations, regulatory considerations, and the complexities of supporting a mission-driven organization.

What You'll Do

Build Executive-Level Workforce Intelligence

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise HR dashboards and workforce reporting using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
• Deliver recurring and ad hoc reporting on headcount, turnover, retention, vacancies, hiring, promotions, productivity, and workforce demographics.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of workforce data across HR systems and reporting platforms.
• Create executive-ready dashboards and presentations that translate complex data into clear business insights.

Drive Workforce Planning & Operational Decision-Making

• Partner with HR and operational leaders to analyze workforce capacity, staffing effectiveness, and organizational performance.
• Develop forecasting models that support hiring plans, workforce demand, and resource allocation.
• Identify workforce risks including turnover trends, succession gaps, recruiting challenges, and retention opportunities.
• Support strategic workforce planning initiatives that enable organizational growth and operational excellence.

Deliver Talent & HR Analytics

• Analyze recruiting pipelines, time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and hiring effectiveness.
• Provide analytics supporting talent reviews, succession planning, employee engagement, and performance management.
• Measure the effectiveness of HR programs and organizational initiatives through meaningful metrics and data analysis.
• Present recommendations to senior leadership that influence workforce strategy and business decisions.

Improve Reporting & Data Infrastructure

• Collaborate with HRIS, IT, Finance, and Operations to optimize workforce data and reporting capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve dashboard functionality.
• Serve as a trusted business partner by translating technical findings into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Support workforce optimization, organizational design, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in workforce analytics, HR analytics, business intelligence, or advanced data analytics.
• Advanced experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.
• Strong SQL, Excel, and data modeling skills.
• Experience analyzing large datasets and presenting findings to executive leadership.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting a healthcare organization, health system, physician group, managed care organization, or healthcare services company.
• Experience working with HRIS platforms such as Workday, UKG, ADP, Oracle HCM, or SAP SuccessFactors.
• Knowledge of workforce planning, talent analytics, predictive modeling, and HR metrics.
