Accounts Receivable/Customer Service Representative Lead

Job Overview

The AR / CSR Lead coordinates the day-to-day activities of the AR / CSR Specialist team, blending oversight of collections with oversight of order and customer-service support for an assigned book of accounts.

This role ensures timely collections, accurate order entry, pricing, invoicing, and delivery coordination, and consistent customer account service, while training and supporting Specialists and partnering with the Strategic Customer Sales Representative(s) to keep processes aligned for the Company's top accounts.

Primary Areas of Ownership

• Daily coordination of the AR / CSR Specialist team's collections and order/service activities
• Escalation support for past-due accounts, disputes, and order or delivery issues
• Order entry, pricing, invoicing, and delivery coordination oversight
• Training and development of AR / CSR Specialists
• Collections workflow, aging review, and reporting consistency
• Partnership with Strategic Customer Sales Representative(s) on shared account processes

Core Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Review aging reports, order queues, and collection/service priorities across the team
• Coach and support Specialists on collections escalations as well as order, pricing, and delivery issues
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Operations, and Warehousing on urgent orders and deliveries
• Monitor unresolved disputes, pricing discrepancies, and invoicing issues
• Support AR and customer-service reporting, metrics, and process consistency
• Partner with Strategic Customer Sales Representative(s) to align processes for top accounts, and escalate unresolved issues to the AR / CSR Manager

Leadership & Performance Expectations

This role is expected to demonstrate accountability, responsiveness, attention to detail, professionalism, process discipline, and strong cross-functional communication while supporting the Company's operational and financial objectives. This role must balance strong collections discipline with responsive, accurate day-to-day customer service and order support.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience combining AR/collections with customer service or order management, including some lead or training experience
• Strong knowledge of order management, pricing, invoicing, and collections workflows
• Ability to train and coach a team on both collections and customer-service responsibilities
• Comfortable coordinating with Purchasing, Operations, Warehousing, and Sales on shared accounts
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skill

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
