Executive Chef - Upscale Casual Scratch Kitchen

NextGen Hospitality Solutions is searching for an Executive Chef to lead our upscale casual scratch kitchen team in Orlando. This full-time, on-site position provides an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals looking to elevate their career in the vibrant restaurant industry.

As the Executive Chef, you will be at the helm of our culinary operations, responsible for crafting innovative, high-quality dishes while managing kitchen staff and operations. Your expertise will play a critical role in enhancing our menu and driving exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $90,000 annually, along with a supportive environment that fosters creativity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
• Create and design seasonal menus reflecting culinary trends and customer preferences
• Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain a productive and positive work environment
• Manage inventory and ordering to minimize waste and maximize budget efficiency
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to create a seamless dining experience
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen
• Experiment with new ingredients and techniques to innovate our menu offerings
• Ensure consistency in food quality and service, addressing guest feedback effectively

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role in the restaurant industry
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of different cooking techniques and cuisines
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Experience with menu creation and inventory management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and maintain exceptional service standards
• Ability to adapt to food trends and incorporate them into menu offerings
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
