Evermore Orlando Resort is an expansive and technically complex property spanning 1,100 acres with multiple operational components. The resort integrates resort-owned vacation rental homes, large-scale water features, and extensive recreational infrastructure. The eight-acre Evermore Bay lagoon includes advanced water treatment, circulation, and safety systems that require continuous monitoring.

Two championship golf courses, numerous pools, water sports facilities, and a wide range of amenities, including pickleball courts, event spaces, and dining venues, further enhance the offerings. This diverse environment demands sophisticated engineering oversight to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability across all systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists with training and supervising kitchen and utility personnel with an emphasis on upholding the Evermore Culture in all our offerings.
• Works with Chef de Cuisine to develop menus.
• Prepares meats and seafood for line and special functions.
• Prepares all sauces, stocks, chili and soups.
• Prepares food orders.
• Supervises the receiving of product to ensure proper quality and quantity is delivered.
• Ensures daily prep, production, and cleaning checklists are completed according to standards.
• Maintains the highest level of security and safety standards for both our guests and Team Members
• Schedules associates based on business volume.
• Ensures that both kitchens and storage areas are clean, organized, and well stocked, and maintains all par levels.
• Ensures that all food products are used on a timely basis.
• Prepares food in accordance with Evermore recipes.
• Aids and assists other areas of the kitchen as needed.
• Sets up, maintains, breaks down and cleans workstations.
• Serves items in accordance with established portion and presentation standards.
• Communicates effectively in a spirit of teamwork and partnership with our Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chefs, and Team Members
• Ensures that assigned workstations and equipment are clean and sanitary.
• Maintains neat professional appearance and always observes personal cleanliness rules.
• Requisitions supplies needed to produce items on menu.
• Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations.
• Covers, dates and properly stores all products.
• Assists with other duties as assigned by the Chef de Cuisine.
• Works closely with the Outlet Manager to supervise both Front of the House and Kitchen as schedule dictates

Education, Skills And Experience

• High School Diploma
• 5+ years’ experience in an upscale kitchen
• 2 years’ management experience
• Culinary degree preferred.
• SERV Safe Certified
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and rotating schedule.
• Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Ability to maintain composure and objectivity in all situations.
• Must be effective in handling opportunities in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding and clarifying concerns and issues raised by Team Members and guests.
• SERV Safe Certified
• Must have the Spirit of Hospitality and enjoy Guest Service, to both our internal and external guests.

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and/or reach repeatedly.
• Able to safely lift, pull and push over 40 pounds.
• Able to be on your feet and move around for long periods at a time.
• Manual dexterity of hand to use all equipment.
• Ability to perform duties with varying temperature ranges.
• Sense of smell
