Senior Engineer - Pump Station

• Manage multiple concurrent Utilities CIP projects from planning and land acquisition through design, permitting, bidding, and construction including coordination with consultants, regulatory agencies, and other County Divisions.
• Projects will focus on pump station renewal/replacement.
• Review project reports, engineering plans and construction specifications, and contract documents for conformance to Standards.
• Manage comprehensive inspection records of Utilities' assets and prioritize future R/R projects.
• Manage CIP program budgets, project expenses and project schedules to meet program milestones.
• Conduct public meetings, make project presentations and respond to questions and requests from Orange County residents, Utilities Operating Divisions, and other Orange County Departments.
• Assist in the coordination, creation, and negotiation of contracts and agreements with Engineering Consultants, vendors, and developers.Provide leadership in the development and maintenance of the CIP master details, standards, and specifications.Respond to requests from and perform coordination with Field Services, Procurement, Real Estate Management, and other County Departments.Supervise staff to include providing leadership, guidance, training, and delegation of work.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
