Role Description

The Business Development Officer / Fire Protection is a full-time on-site role based in Dammam, focused on growing the fire protection segment of MGT’s business. Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors, and promoting MGT’s fire protection systems and related services.

The role involves preparing and presenting technical and commercial proposals, coordinating with engineering and operations teams on project requirements, and supporting tender submissions and negotiations. The officer will monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in fire protection, ensuring that offerings remain competitive and compliant.

Day-to-day tasks also include regular client visits, pipeline reporting, and close collaboration with internal stakeholders to convert leads into successful projects.

Qualifications

• Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, and negotiation.
• Technical understanding of fire protection systems, NFPA or similar standards, and relevant safety and compliance requirements.
• Experience in industrial or commercial contracting, preferably in electrical, fire protection, or related engineering fields.
• Ability to prepare and review technical proposals, quotations, and tender documents with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English;
• Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Proven ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects or opportunities simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• Familiarity with the Saudi market, local regulations, and Vision 2030-related industrial and infrastructure initiatives is beneficial.
