We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This individual will be responsible for managing key accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting month-end close and reporting processes.

The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting knowledge, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Contract to hire: 6 month contract

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals for month-end and year-end close.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports.
• Manage multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange transactions
• Coordinate month-end and year end across international subsidiaries
• Handle intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
• Support the preparation of schedules for external audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and SOX (if applicable).
• Work closely with AP, AR, FP&A, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
• Provide support for special projects, system implementations, and process automation efforts.

Qualifications

Education & Certification

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• CPA or CPA eligibility strongly preferred.

Experience

• 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a mix of public accounting and industry. Experience in inventory management is a plus
• Experience in a publicly traded technology, fintech, SaaS, or digital asset company a plus.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.
• Strong foreign exchange transactions
• Strong intercompany reconciliation and Elimination experience
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred

• Experience in month-end close, audit support, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with consolidation, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency a plus.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending upon your leveling and location, the compensation for this role averages between $85 - $100 an hour.
