Full Job Description

Local CPA Firm in Downtown San Jose seeks full-time Experienced Audit Associate with at least one year of Auditing experience within public accounting.

Job requirements

Work in audits include audit planning/risk assessments, application of audit procedures, documentation of audit progress with detailed working papers, and reporting.

Candidate Preferences

CPA licensure a strong plus

At least one year of experience in auditing and attestation. Additional years in public accounting a strong plus.

Capable of conducting audits with risk assessments and documentation. Ability to use tools for data analytics.

Detail oriented with good working paper documentation in audit programs

Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Word

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Analytical & problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn

Ability to accurately perform work with strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently and with others

• Monday to Friday (Weekends if needed during busy seasons)
