Scholars Academy
Scholars Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant-Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.
This role involves planning and implementing engaging lessons that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of infants - 24 month olds.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:● Implementing age appropriate project-based activities ● Helping in daily operation of the classroom ● Supporting students with daily activities (playtime, snacks, naptime, feeding, diapering, etc) ● Enthusiastically communicating student’s progress to parents ● Participating in staff meetings and other school organized events ● Effectively communicating with students, parents and staff members ● Maintaining a clean and safe classroom environment ● Managing school operations and identifying new processes ● Ensuring a safe and healthy environment and practicing all licensing, safety and health protocols regulations and procedures ● Following school policies ● Developing, managing and implementing curriculum and educational activities
Teacher Qualifications include: ● Must have infant - toddler units ● At least 2 year of relevant teaching experience classroom● CPR and First Aid certified ● Covid-19 Vaccine required ● Ability to effectively prioritize work duties and adapt quickly ● Strong written and oral communication skills ● Team player and collaborator ● Values being honest, compassionate and nurturing ●Responsible for planning and implementing learning experiences for infants - 24 month old that advance the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of children within a safe and healthy learning environment.
