TSMC Arizona is looking for a Hookup Cost and Planning Engineer (Entry level) to join our most advantage technology fab in US, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. Job Description: Cost and Planning Engineer

• Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Developing accurate cost estimates and budgets for projects by analyzing various factors like labor, materials, and time requirements.
• Scheduling and Planning: Developing project schedules, identifying milestones, and ensuring timely completion of project tasks.
• Cost Control: Monitoring and controlling project costs, identifying variances, and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Risk Assessment: Identifying potential risks that could impact project costs and developing mitigation strategies.
• Data Analysis: Analyzing historical data, market trends, and project performance to improve cost estimation accuracy and forecasting.
• Collaboration: Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information, collaborate on decisions, and ensure projects align with strategic objectives.
• Reporting and Communication: Preparing detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing cost estimates, budgets, and project progress.
• Continuous Improvement: Implementing and refining cost estimation methodologies and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate cross organization to develop project plans specific to their functional area, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Facilitate communication cross organizationally, ensuring alignment on project goals and updates.
• Support global FAB facilities, such as Taiwan, Japan, and Europe, etc. for a certain period.
• Flexibly adjust the nature of work according to different time points and departmental goals and cooperate with departmental needs.
• Undertake responsibilities for emergency troubleshooting and cooperate with day, night, and holiday shifts during special periods.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or above. Major in Mechanical, Automation Engineering related fields, Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering, or Business Administration in Accounting or Finance & Business. - OR - a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 2 of those years in project coordinator, purchasing, or operations analyst.
• Ability to communicate and work in an English environment is required (language ability in Mandarin, German, and Japanese is a plus).
• Experience with equipment installation is preferred.
• Proficiency in fundamental project management and financial concepts.
• Good problem-solving skills, communication ability, team spirit, active learning attitude.
• Support global FAB facilities, such as Taiwan, Japan, and Europe, etc. for a certain period.

Candidates must be willing and able to work on-site at our Phoenix Arizona facility.
