Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, tech-savvy, and possesses exceptional communication and customer service skills.

This role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy under pressure, and collaborate effectively with both customers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accounts receivable records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of customer account information.
• Process, post, and apply a high volume of customer payments, invoices, credits, and adjustments in a timely manner.
• Monitor outstanding balances and proactively follow up on overdue accounts through professional phone and email communication.
• Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, account balances, and billing discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve payment disputes, billing issues, and account discrepancies while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Reconcile customer accounts and research variances to ensure accurate financial records.
• Utilize ServiceTitan to track invoices, document account activity, update customer records, and manage communication.
• Collaborate with operations, customer service, and accounting teams to resolve billing concerns and improve collection processes.
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports and provide updates on collection status.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Assist with administrative, accounting, and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience required.
• Demonstrated experience processing high volumes of invoices, payments, and data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Excellent customer service, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, data organization, and basic formulas.
• Experience with ServiceTitan preferred; experience with similar field service management or accounting software is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
