Senior Interior Design Lead

Klai Juba Wald Architecture + Interiors is seeking a highly talented Senior Interior Design Lead to join our award-winning Interiors studio. This role is ideal for a creative and strategic designer with a passion for hospitality and entertainment environments and a proven ability to guide projects from concept through completion.

As a Senior Interior Design Lead, you will help shape the design vision for world-class hospitality, gaming, entertainment, and mixed-use projects while mentoring team members and collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and project teams. This is for an in-person, full-time role at our office in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design efforts across all phases of a project, from concept development through construction administration.
• Establish and communicate the creative vision for projects while ensuring design excellence and quality.
• Oversee design presentations, material palettes, finish selections, and documentation.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Mentor and support junior designers and foster a collaborative studio culture.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, building strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure project schedules, design intent, and deliverables are maintained.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in hospitality, gaming, or commercial interior design.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical expertise.
• Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and presentation software.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• NCIDQ certification and/or professional registration preferred.
