Private Chef | Full-Time | Private Household (Las Vegas)

Las Vegas Personal Chefs (also operating as Chefs for Seniors and My Vegas Chef) is seeking an experienced, polished Private Chef for a long-term placement with a private family in Las Vegas.

This role supports the Executive Chef and household management in a private residence with exceptionally high standards for quality, organization, and confidentiality. The ideal chef maintains a meticulous kitchen, values clean, whole-food cooking, and brings a warm, positive presence that complements the rhythm of a family home.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef seeking a long-term placement with a dedicated private household. While the position is part-time and on-call, it is intended to provide consistent, ongoing work for the right chef.

The chef will prepare thoughtful, well-balanced meals tailored to the family's preferences while maintaining an exceptional level of culinary execution and presentation.

The family enjoys refined, restaurant-quality dining featuring multiple courses, seasonal ingredients, and beautifully prepared meals. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable preparing elevated dinners, everyday family meals, and options for children.

The chef should also be comfortable accommodating dietary preferences and restrictions while thoughtfully adapting menus without compromising flavor, creativity, or quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute weekly menus tailored to the household's preferences and dietary needs
• Prepare exceptional meals for immediate service as well as meal coverage throughout the week
• Source groceries and manage kitchen inventory, organization, and food quality
• Maintain an impeccably clean, organized, and highly functional kitchen
• Execute meals with consistency, efficiency, and exceptional attention to detail
• Coordinate occasional family gatherings, dinner parties, and special meals as requested
• Operate with the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and respect for the household's privacy

Schedule

• Part-time/Variable Schedule based on the household's needs
• Approximately 3–4 shifts per week, depending on the family's schedule
• Availability during weekdays, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays may be requested
• Designed as a long-term placement with one dedicated household

Qualifications

• 5+Years proven experience as a Private Chef, Personal Chef, or in a similar household role
• Strong foundation in Italian-inspired and American cuisine
• Experience working with dietary preferences and restrictions
• Experience cooking for families, including children, is highly preferred
• Ability to balance elevated cooking
• Highly organized with strong time management skills
• Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal communication
• Demonstrates discretion and respect for privacy at all times
• Reliable transportation and ability to manage grocery procurement independently
• Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain
