About the role

FuntoNetwork is seeking a Business Development Consultant for its Marketplace & Client Acquisition business unit. This consulting sales role focuses on demonstrating the FuntoNetwork app to qualified organizations, signing them up as client users, and helping them post consulting or project needs.

This role is separate from FuntoNetwork's RFP-response and public-procurement work.

What you'll do

• Prospect businesses and organizations with consulting, technology, operations, or project needs.
• Demonstrate the FuntoNetwork app and explain the client marketplace workflow.
• Convert qualified prospects into registered FuntoNetwork client users.
• Help clients post project scope, required skills, timing, work location, budget range, and key requirements.
• Confirm that each client understands the project-posting workflow and next steps.
• Hand clients to FuntoNetwork marketplace support after the project is posted.
• Track outreach, app demonstrations, account signups, verified project postings, and follow-up.

Who this role is for

This role is suited to people with business-development, consultative-sales, marketing, staffing, recruiting, SaaS, marketplace, partnership, or client-acquisition experience. Because this is a contractor role with performance-based earnings, applicants should be financially prepared for a ramp-up period and comfortable independently managing their schedule and outreach pipeline.

Compensation — earn both

• $600 new-client activation bonus: a one-time bonus for each newly sourced client whose first qualifying project is complete and approved, valued at $10,000 or more, and funded or active. Duplicate, incomplete, fraudulent, cancelled, unfunded, or unapproved projects do not qualify.
• 30% ongoing commission: paid on FuntoNetwork net service revenue actually collected from every qualifying project completed by a client the consultant originally sourced and signed up, subject to the written contractor agreement.

When you earn both

You earn both the $600 activation bonus and the 30% commission when a newly sourced client's first project meets every activation requirement and FuntoNetwork collects its service revenue for that project.

When you earn only one

• Commission only: after the one-time activation bonus has already been paid for that client, you can continue earning the 30% commission on later qualifying projects from that client.
• Activation bonus only: if the client's first project fully qualifies for activation but commissionable service revenue has not yet been collected, the approved bonus may be paid first. The commission becomes payable after the related service revenue is actually collected.

When neither is earned

Neither payment is earned when the prospect was not newly sourced by the consultant, the client or project cannot be verified, the first project is under $10,000 or is incomplete, cancelled, unfunded, fraudulent, or unapproved, or no commissionable FuntoNetwork service revenue is collected.

Net service revenue means the FuntoNetwork service fee actually collected. It excludes consultant payments, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, discounts, credits, and pass-through expenses.

Potential earnings examples

The examples below assume that FuntoNetwork's net service revenue equals 15% of the project value. They show the consultant's 30% commission on that revenue plus the one-time $600 activation bonus when the project is the client's first qualifying project. These are illustrations only, not guaranteed earnings.

Payment schedule

Approved new-client activation bonuses are calculated weekly and paid on the next scheduled weekly contractor payment. Commissions are calculated monthly on qualifying client payments received through the last day of each month and paid by the 15th of the following month.

Refunds, chargebacks, cancellations, credits, and uncollected amounts are excluded from commission and may be offset against future payments when permitted by the contractor agreement.

This is a commission-based independent-contractor consulting opportunity, not a guaranteed-salary role. Earnings are performance-based and are not guaranteed. A written agreement will define client attribution, qualifying-project rules, commission calculations, payment timing, adjustment rules, and other applicable terms before work begins.
