High-end Residential Installation Foreman
Pay is $26.00 to $35.00 per hour based on experience, plus overtime and a performance bonus.
About XL Rez
XL Rez is the high-end residential division of XL Landscape Development. We build and care for some of the finest estates in Las Vegas, and we hold every project to a white-glove standard.
Our values
- Relentless Stewardship. We care deeply for every property we touch.
- Proactive Communication. We speak up early and clearly.
- Servant Leadership. We lead by helping others win.
- Profitability. We grow by doing great work the smart way.
About the role
This is a key hire as we grow, and it is a critical role that will not be a 40-hour-a-week job. You would own the day-to-day installation on our high-end estate projects, run your own crew of three to four, and take that work off our operations manager so he can run the wider business.
You would run the complete build, from irrigation and grading to pavers, walls, and finish masonry.
Expect to spend your days in the field, leading the crew and building at a level our clients notice. Long days and the occasional weekend come with the build schedule. This is hands-on work for a foreman who takes pride in precision and wants real ownership of the build.
What you will do
The duties below are typical examples and not a complete list of everything the role may involve.
The complete install
- Install and repair irrigation systems, including valves, timers, and backflows.
- Install low-voltage lighting, including wiring and timer setup.
- Plant trees and plant material at proper depth and placement, including staking and tree setup.
- Install artificial turf, including base, compaction, proper fit, and infill.
- Handle grading, trenching, drainage, weed block, and rock.
Hardscape
- Install pavers, patios, walkways, driveways, and steps, from base prep and grading to screed, laying pattern, cutting, compaction, and joint sand, using a level and string line to a clean finish.
- Build retaining and seat walls to plan and to last.
Masonry and outdoor living
- Stone and masonry work, including natural stone, block, and veneer.
- Build outdoor living features like outdoor kitchens, BBQ islands, patio covers, fireplaces, and fire pits.
- Make clean, precise masonry cuts and work with high-end materials like travertine and porcelain.
- Set columns and mortar work to a clean, high-end finish.
Project and crew leadership
- Read and interpret plans, work orders, and construction drawings, and turn them into a day-by-day production schedule.
- Lead a crew of three to four, set daily goals, and keep the build on time and on budget.
- Sequence material deliveries on tight estate sites, and source and pick up materials as needed.
- Train your crew and hold quality and safety high on every site.
- Track jobs, materials, and hours in Aspire.
Quality and clients
- Build to a white-glove standard that holds up for years.
- Keep the job site clean and orderly, walk it daily, catch issues early, and handle your own punch list.
- Represent XL Rez professionally and make sure the customer is satisfied.
What success looks like

About you
- You have at least five years leading landscape installation crews, on high-end residential projects.
- You can run every part of a build: irrigation and grading to planting, turf, lighting, hardscape, and masonry.
- You have deep hardscape skill across pavers, walls, steps, and concrete flatwork.
- You have real masonry ability with natural stone, block, veneer, and outdoor kitchens.
- You manage the schedule and the costs, and you protect the margin on every job.
- You read plans, work orders, maps, and can build an accurate production schedule and material takeoff.
- You lead a crew with confidence and hold quality and safety without being told.
- You are self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, and you take ownership of the day-to-day without waiting for permission.
- You communicate clearly and represent the company well with high-end clients.
