Sr. HR Generalist

The Senior HR Generalist serves as a key HR partner supporting a dynamic, operations-focused environment. This role provides both strategic and hands-on support across the full employee lifecycle, including employee relations, recruiting, performance management, workforce planning, compliance, and HR program execution.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support across multiple functions including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and HR operations
• Partner with leadership to drive HR strategies aligned with business objectives
• Lead employee relations investigations, conflict resolution, and policy enforcement
• Advise managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations
• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, and offer management
• Support onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit processes
• Develop and maintain accurate HRIS and applicant tracking system data
• Assist in preparation of HR metrics, reporting, and audit documentation
• Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, and programs
• Support employee engagement initiatives, including surveys and culture programs
• Provide coaching on career development, goal setting, and employee growth
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on compensation, benefits, and talent initiatives
• Contribute to HR projects, system implementations, and process optimization efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a senior generalist or HR business partner capacity
• Experience working in a regulated, manufacturing, or fast-paced operational environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• Experience with HRIS platforms (ADP or similar systems)
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive change
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
