Role Description The Project Manager–Electrical is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing electrical construction projects from initiation through completion. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Kansas City, MO, with a mix of on-site project work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Day-to-day tasks include developing project schedules, managing budgets and resources, coordinating with field teams and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes. The role involves tracking materials and equipment, expediting deliveries, supervising inspections, and addressing technical and logistical issues to keep projects on time and within scope.

The Project Manager–Electrical also collaborates with clients, engineers, and internal stakeholders to provide updates, resolve concerns, and support successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Expeditor and Expediting experience to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
• Inspection skills to verify work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to electrical codes and project specifications.
• Logistics Management capabilities to organize resources, manage supply chains, and support efficient field operations.
• Relevant experience in electrical construction or electrical contracting, ideally within commercial or industrial projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and safety.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with project management software and standard office tools; familiarity with EPC environments is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting, balancing on-site project needs in Kansas City, MO with remote responsibilities.
