Site Reliability Engineer II – Join Mastercard's Payment Network Business Operations team to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of Mastercard's global application environment. In this role you will drive production readiness, automate operational tasks, mentor developers, and manage risk and compliance across all platforms.
The Business Operations Site Reliability Engineer is a production readiness steward responsible for maintaining a stable, healthy platform. You will support daily operations with a focus on triage, root‑cause analysis, and blameless post‑mortems while collaborating with developers to embed operational excellence into the software build process.
As Part Of The Business Operations Team, You WillWork independently on site reliability projects, applying best practices to meet organizational quality standards.
Implement and maintain high‑availability systems for operational stability.
Evaluate operational needs and develop technical solutions under guidance.
Contribute to automation and scripting projects to streamline routine tasks.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate system issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
Document operational procedures and share knowledge with team members.
Participate in quality checks and reviews to ensure system stability and reliability.
Make minor adjustments or enhancements to resolve identifiable issues and manage small projects as an individual contributor.
