Sr Site Reliability Engineer

At H&R Block, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Sr Site Reliability Engineer with a keen eye for detail and a passion for driving excellence. As a key member of our engineering team, you will help ensure our systems are running optimally, maximizing uptime and availability for our users.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and be able to juggle multiple tasks at once. Our ideal candidate will have experience developing automation solutions and working with cloud-based technologies.

To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and at least five years of experience in a similar role. You should also have experience with scripting languages and DevOps tools, such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack. An understanding of networking, storage, and security principles is also required.
