Senior Business Development Executive - National Accounts | Remote | Uncapped Earnings

My client is investing heavily in growth and is looking for a proven business development executive who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, and winning new enterprise clients.

This is not an account management role.

This is a true hunter position where you'll identify opportunities, create your own pipeline, and close strategic business with organizations across the United States. You'll be backed by an experienced operations and project team so you can focus on what you do best: selling.

If you've built your career selling consultative business solutions, marketing services, experiential marketing, creative services, branded environments, event marketing, commercial design, customer engagement solutions, or similar B2B services, we'd like to talk.

Your day-in-the-life

• Generate net new business through strategic prospecting and relationship development
• Identify and engage decision makers across marketing, procurement, operations, executive leadership, and corporate communications
• Build a healthy pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, email outreach, and strategic business development
• Conduct consultative discovery meetings
• Develop customized solutions with internal strategy, creative, and operations teams
• Present proposals, negotiate agreements, and close profitable new business
• Become a trusted advisor through long term relationships
• Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM activity
• Travel as needed for client meetings, networking opportunities, and business development activities

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of successful B2B business development or hunter sales experience
• Proven success creating new business through outbound prospecting
• Experience selling consultative marketing services, experiential marketing, creative services, branded environments, customer engagement solutions, commercial design, promotional marketing, event marketing, corporate services, or comparable business solutions
• Experience managing complex sales cycles
• Strong consultative selling skills
• Executive communication
• Highly self motivated with exceptional follow through
• Collaborative and independent

Location

We have multiple opportunities. The main focus is in the Kansas City Metropolitan area, but additional preference will be given to candidates located in or near other major metropolitan markets, including Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte, Denver, Phoenix, Seattle, and other major U.S. cities.
