Support Staff / Administrative Assistant

Omni Advocacy Services assists individuals with barriers to gain successful employment and community living skills. We are a community-based advocacy program looking for a Part-Time Support Staff / Administrative Assistant in our offices in Kansas City, Missouri. The right candidate will be proactive, motivated, detailed oriented and passionate about helping others to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the management team
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
• Prepare and proofread documents, reports, and presentations
• Assist with project coordination and follow-up on action items
• Serve as a point of contact for internal and external entities
• Handle Client inquiries and provide excellent support
• Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and organizing documents
• Assist with event planning and coordination

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience is a plus but we will train the right person.
