Personal Chef & Catering Specialist

Position Summary

Mid-American Wealth Advisory Group is seeking a talented, organized, and passionate Personal Chef & Catering Specialist to support our CEO with daily meal preparation while also planning and preparing food for company events throughout the year.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys creating healthy, high-quality meals, thrives in a professional environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional hospitality. In addition to preparing meals for the CEO, this individual will cater approximately six company workshops, client appreciation events, or employee gatherings annually.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare fresh, nutritious meals for the CEO based on dietary preferences and schedule.
• Shop for groceries and maintain an organized kitchen and pantry.
• Develop weekly meal plans and recommend seasonal menu options.
• Prepare meals in advance when appropriate.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Cater approximately six company events each year, including client workshops and employee functions.
• Create event menus, coordinate food preparation, presentation, and serving as needed.
• Manage food inventory and kitchen supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Perform other hospitality-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a private chef, executive chef, personal chef, or catering professional.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, nutrition, and meal planning.
• Ability to prepare a variety of cuisines and accommodate dietary preferences.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Professional, dependable, and highly trustworthy.
• Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Culinary degree or formal culinary training preferred but not required.
