Job Overview

Banquet Bartenders are responsible for providing libations and offering customized recommendations. The right person should be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar.

This position offers opportunity for casual conversation, creativity and allows for building on one's style and previous bartending experiences. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes and maintaining a sanitary environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• At least three years of previous food and beverage bartending experience required.
• Open availability on Friday and Saturday evenings.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
• Ability to read, speak, write and understand English sufficiently to understand menus, special promotions, and communicate with guests to explain and record orders.
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote the entire variety of exciting menu items

Work Environment

• Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 50lbs through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift.
• Ability to operate beverage and toast equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and continuously perform essential functions for an extended period of time.
