Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kansas City, MO. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings.

Daily tasks include diagnosing system issues, performing troubleshooting, completing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with safety codes and manufacturer guidelines. The specialist will interact with customers on-site, explain findings and recommendations, and provide clear, professional service.

The role also includes documenting work orders, maintaining tools and equipment, and collaborating with team members to complete jobs efficiently.

Qualifications

• Strong HVAC skills, including installation, repair, and system diagnostics.
• Experience with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems and fluid connections.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in heating and cooling equipment.
• Proven customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with clients.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine checks to extend equipment life.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in HVAC is preferred.
• Knowledge of local mechanical and safety codes, and adherence to workplace safety practices.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site work.
• Capability to lift equipment, work in varying temperatures, and perform physical tasks safely.
