Engineering Field Technician - Drilling Assistant

Summary

Responsible for safe, and effective operation of industry specific equipment with the primary purpose of performing engineering field inspections focused on exploration of subsurface materials.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assists in all phases of drilling activities.
• Opens and reassembles sampling devices.
• Conducts drilling and sampling operations with hand-operated drilling equipment.
• Follows written corporate safety policy.
• Assists with field surveying or other field engineering activities.
• Performs or assists in routine equipment maintenance and repair.
• Obtain and maintain all required safety training and certifications which could include, but are not limited to: OSHA 10 Hour, CPR/First Aid, and defensive driving.
• Adhere to all the safety requirements of the position while assisting team members to do the same.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
