Manufacturing Process Engineer

Analyze the customers technical requirements to create a manufacturing plan for fabrication or assembly of products by performing the following duties.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
Study engineering blueprints, drawings, models and other specifications to determine customer requirements.
Review technical and non-technical documents that relate to contracts, specifications, purchasing, product design, manufacture and test and incorporate the requirements into the manufacturing plans.
Coordinate technical questions and corrections with MTM sales and the Customers engineering representatives.
Apply knowledge of functions, and processes of various departments and capacities of machines and equipment to determine the sequence of operations for fabrication or assembly of product.
Determine if operations require subcontractor involvement. Specify the specific work scope and requirements for all subcontracted operations.
List operations to be performed on manufacturing plan, indicate machine or equipment to be used, estimate time to set-up and perform each operation.
Specify type of material to be used, determine the material requirements for part fabrication, considering part size, and method of fabrication.
Direct and coordinate quality planning activities.
Posts changes to computerized or manual control records, release documents and notifies affected departments.
Support the Quality Management System to assure compliance to quality, industrial and government standards and regulations.
Releases manufacturing plans and supporting documentation to authorized departments.
Support manufacturing operations and subcontractors by clarifying requirements and improving manufacturing processes and procedures.
Compile and maintain control of records relating to customer drawing specifications, part lists, and customer supplied product/process supporting documentation.
Maintain and control process specification documents and data.
Assists in determining adequate parts inventory requirements for customers.
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
Observe the safety rules and regulations and wear the required safety equipment.
Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training/ or combination of education and experience.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
