Job Overview

Northeastern Air Quality is seeking a dedicated and articulate Remote Customer Service Advisor to join our team on a full-time basis. As a leading provider of services focused on improving air quality, we offer expert testing, assessment, and environmental consulting for both residential and commercial clients. This role is fundamental to our mission, serving as the primary point of contact for our valued customers.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for delivering outstanding client support. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home while contributing to an organisation committed to promoting healthier air standards. The offered compensation is $50 - $60 USD per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for client enquiries, responding professionally via phone, email, and other digital communication channels.
• Provide clear and accurate information regarding our range of air quality services, including testing procedures, assessments, and environmental solutions.
• Efficiently schedule appointments and coordinate with our technical specialists for on-site client visits.
• Manage and resolve customer issues with empathy and patience, escalating complex cases to the appropriate department when necessary.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date records of all client interactions and transactions within our company database.
• Proactively follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with our services and to gather valuable feedback.
• Assist with general administrative tasks to support the customer service function.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a customer service, client support, or a similar role.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and courteous telephone manner.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
• Proficiency in standard office software and experience using CRM systems is advantageous.
• The ability to work independently and maintain high performance in a remote setting.
• A keen interest in environmental science or public health is desirable but not essential.
