Project Coordinator – Construction and Installation

Pay: $27–$31 per hour

A well-established Central Indiana window and door company is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join its team. This position will manage residential and commercial projects from the signed contract through final completion.

The Project Coordinator will communicate with customers, vendors, installers, sales representatives, and internal departments to coordinate materials, schedules, deliveries, installations, and service needs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys managing details, solving problems, and helping projects stay on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate window and door projects from contract through completion
• Review orders for accurate pricing, products, project scope, and scheduling details
• Purchase products, materials, and services from vendors
• Coordinate deliveries, installation dates, and field schedules
• Communicate project updates to customers, vendors, installers, and internal teams
• Track order status, project documents, change requests, and deadlines
• Confirm materials and job sites are ready before installation
• Resolve issues involving damaged products, shortages, delays, warranties, and service requests
• Maintain accurate project records and customer information
• Help improve processes and overall project efficiency

Requirements

• 3+ years of project coordination, construction operations, or related experience preferred
• Previous experience in construction, remodeling, windows and doors, flooring, roofing, HVAC, cabinetry, installation, or building materials is strongly preferred
• Stable employment history, with more than two years at previous employers preferred
• Must live within a reasonable daily commute of the work location
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing several projects, orders, or deadlines at once
